In its 175-year history, the North Carolina Railroad Company (NCRR) has shifted from managing state rail corridors to becoming a pivotal force in the transportation sector. Embracing collaboration and partnership, NCRR embarked on a bold rebranding journey, realigning its brand strategy and visual identity to reflect its new growth-oriented approach and commitment to fostering innovation in the rail industry.
I spearheaded the entire visual design journey, initiating with an engaging visual design workshop with the client. Collaboratively, we honed logo concepts alongside their team, culminating in the seamless launch of a revitalized brand identity. To distinguish ourselves in the industry and signify a powerful transformation, we opted for a vibrant green color palette and introduced a new logo mark for the next phase of NCRR. Drawing inspiration from railcar couplers, the symbol represents unity and partnership, reflecting our commitment to collaboration.
